Multan Sultans will be hoping to bounce back quickly after a disappointing loss in the final of PSL 7. This time around, the Sultans will be hoping to qulaify fo rtheir third successive final and lift their second PSL trophy. The team will once again be led by Mohammad Rizwan, as he looks to deliver the goods with a star stacked squad.
Multan will be determined to replicate their performances and have added extra quality to their already star-studded squad. The likes of Rilee Rossouw, Tim David, Shan Masood, and Khushdil Shah will now be aided by David Miller, Josh Little, and Akeal Hosein as Sultans look to charge to the title in PSL 8.
Multan will be hoping to become the second side after Islamabad United to win the tournament on more than one occasion. Every team in PSL has at least won the PSL title once.
Multan Sultans team includes some familiar faces such as Shahnawaz Dahani, Shan Masood, Khushdil Shah, Tim David, and Mohammad Rizwan. Players picked up by Multan in the PSL 2023 draft include the likes of David Miller, Josh Little, Akeal Hosein and England’s T20 World Cup winner, Adil Rashid. They have a mix of experienced and young players in the squad which will enable them to perform according to the situation of the game. Multan Sultans players list includes cricketers such as Arafat Minhas, Ihsanullah and Abbas Afridi. Experienced campaigners such as Anwar Ali, Sameen Gul And Usama Mir, add a host of options at their disposal.
