Namaz is a universal activity performed by Muslims all across the globe. Allah has made it clear that it is us who need to perform prayers and that He has no need for our prayers. But those who pray regularly are close to Allah and He rewards them in ways unimaginable, not just in this world but the world after this one as well.

Allah says in Quran:

“Give thanks to Allah, and whoever gives thanks, it is only for his own soul’s good, and whoever is ungrateful, surely Allah is Free of all needs, Worthy of all praise.”

Allah asks us to come to Him whenever we are in trouble, whenever we are in need of something and He grants us from his uncountable treasures.
