The Chairman of Systems Limited, Mr. Aezaz Hussain today announced the appointment of Mr. Asif Peer as the CEO and Managing Director of Systems Limited – effective from 1 January 2013.
Mr. Peer joined Systems Limited in 1995 and moved to its subsidiary in USA, Visionet Systems, in 1999. During his tenure at Systems Limited & Visionet Systems, Mr. Peer has provided valuable contributions in the development of solutions & products that acted as a catalyst to the company’s phenomenal growth within the US Market, a statement issued by the firm said.
Mr. Asif Peer succeeds Mr. Ashraf Kapadia who has been Systems Limited’s Managing Director for the past nine years and now has been appointed to serve as Advisor to the Board of Systems Limited.
On the Occasion, Mr. Aezaz Hussain, Chairman of Systems Limited, said that
“Systems Limited is a unique company primarily owned by its key employees. It is this employee ownership which has been a main source of strength and success of the company, particularly during difficult times. Today in its 35th year a number of key employees and management of Systems Limited have retired or passed on.
In keeping with our commitment to growing ownership by employees, on the advice of the Board of Directors of Systems Limited, its shareholders approved the transition of significant ownership to the future key employees of the company led by Arshad Masood CEO of Visionet Systems (the US partner of Systems Limited) and Asif Peer and their strong team of Engagement Managers.
In addition a number of additional members of their team which represent the future leadership have been given shareholding of our company.”
“During the last nine years under the leadership of Ashraf Kapadia, Systems Limited has progressed significantly and recorded a manifold growth in terms of revenue and size.” He further stated that “The Board is delighted that Asif has now been appointed to lead Systems Limited through the company’s next phase of growth”.

Mr. Asif Peer has led many strategic relationships for a number of top notch corporations, including a sizeable number in the Fortune 500 league. He has extensive experience in managing operations, P&L and establishing core processes for a business unit that generated over $20 million in revenue.
Asif holds several industry certifications and has advanced degrees in Information Systems and Business Administration.
