Six New TV Channel Licenses issued by PEMRA

Khaleej Times has reported that Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) has issued six new TV channel licenses to be operated in Pakistan, which includes Geo English as well.

Those new channels includes

1. Geo English
2. Business Plus,
3. Wikkid Plus,
4. ARY Shopping Channel,
5. Aruj TV
6. Asset Plus channels

Paper reports that the decision for issuance of new TV channel licenses was carried out in 49th meeting of PEMRA, where other significant decisions were also made to promote private electronic media in Pakistan.
