Here is this market rumor that that Aamir Ibrahim has apparently resigned from his position at Mobilink, however, company spokesperson didn’t confirm this news. Spokesman responded us that he is unaware of any such thing, and he will revert back to us with updates. It merits mentioning here that he didn’t deny our query.
On other side, it is also heard that that Aamir Ibrahim may join Warid as its CEO. Sources confirmed us that he was in talks with Warid for said position.
Reportedly, Aamir Ibrahim was not in good books of Rashid Khan, the CEO of Mobilink, and sources familiar with the scenario told us the situation in same manner too. In case of his resignation, there are good chances that he may join Warid Telecom as its CEO or maybe as Telenor Pakistan’s CCO.
Moreover, in case of Mr. Ibrahim’s resignation, Naeem Zamindar is likely to get back his portfolio of planning and strategy. Naeem Zamindar was heading Broadband Unit before Mustafa Paracha replaced him.
