Max99 is now offering free SMS to any country for all Max99 users.Along with, today they launched Max99 Email and Max99’s PC version.

We are not sure about how long Max99 will bear expenses of providing free SMS service.
Max99 has also launched Email feature. Max99 email feature is not as advanced and feature rich like other popular email services, and the reason is that it has been optimized for mobile use only.
To activate email service or to send/read your Max99 emails go to my max in your contacts tab and click Email.
Max99 is a fast growing mobile community. With their Max99 mobile version for java phones now Max99 is also releasing other versions.
Along with Mobile Applications, Max99 has launched their PC version, to stay online from PC. Max99 PC version is for MS windows but we were able to run it on Pocket PC and on Linux too, though application crashed many a times.

Update: As mentioned by multiple users, SMS section on Max99 is not working as of now. However, we had tested it before publishing the report.
Meanwhile we are contacting Max99 admins to figure out the problem, we will update this post when and if we hear anything from Max99 team.

For those who are facing authentication failed error, I think they are sending through pc messenger, I would like to inform that there are some bugs in pc messenger which will be fix asap. So i would like to suggest you to kindly send through mobile application.
