To whom it may concern,

I have extremely peeved at Ufone for the latest Uth ads that they are currently producing. They keep talking about being a mufta and the horror is only extended by the fact that they just showed their characters crashing a wedding.

This is the wrong thing to promote – a wedding is a family occasion and it is very wrong to go ahead and crash such an occasion for free food – i am a personal victim of such an incident only a few days ago.

This promotion of mufta culture is going to be embedded in the youngsters minds and by the time they grow up they will eventually become full time muftas and will think that it ok to evade taxes, beat up people, break the law etc.

It is very disappointing to see a company like ufone getting desperate enough to a)promote such a wrong mufta culture and b)not be able to discriminate between right and wrong just to promote their own agenda of increasing revenues.

Yours sincerely,

Owais Khan

Karachi
