Ufone Equips CDA with 3G Based Activity Management System

Ufone today announced that it has launched a 3G based activity management system for Capital Development Authority (CDA).

This solution will allow CDA management to keep track of the activities of its employees on ground, supplemented by location and pictures of the employees.

This is one of the productive use of 3G services that are launched by Ufone and other telecom operators recently.

With the help of the 3G based management system, the authority will be able to assign tasks to its employees, monitor the work in progress and view a time stamped feed of the activities.

Speaking about the launch of this system, Mr. Noman Azhar, Head of Financial Services, Ufone said, “This management system will primarily help CDA in time management, better utilization of financial and human resources, whereby setting a precedent for others to follow suit.”

He added, “We are working on more such innovative solutions with the use of the available 3G technology.”

Mr. Maroof Afzal, Chairman CDA on this occasion said, “We thank Ufone for introducing this high-end and innovative management system for CDA as it will help us increase our efficiency and productivity, whereby utilizing these resources in other areas.”

It is the first of its kind 3G enabled mobile applications and web interface in the country, while Samsung has provided these free of cost handsets to CDA management for this purpose.
