The second episode of DIGITALK, a monthly digital forum, was organized by TEC in Lahore at the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club. The topic chosen for this month was “Transforming Customer Service & Brand Loyalty in Digital Age”.
Mr. Zain Majid CEO, TEC delivered the opening address and appreciated the response of attendees at the launching event that took place in January 2016.
Mr. Ahmed Muzammil Consultant Digital Transformation, Royal Tag, stressed that it’s all about stories rather than what you do and how you do it.
Second speaker for the evening was Mr. Mudasir Ajmal Head of Digital Advertising, Bata Pakistan. He said that end user is now very much aware of his rights, there is no rocket science in retaining the customer, except by providing him the best quality services.
Mr. Muaz Raja Chief Strategic Officer, Strategic Alliancez stressed that Pakistani business owners are missing on the trust in their customers. He gave the example of 7-Eleven, Marshalls where billing is automated and a new level of customer trust is set.
Followed by the speaker sessions was a panel discussion. Mr. Iftikhar Hussain VP Business and Strategy, TEC moderated the session and opened the floor for a two-way discussion where the audience actively participated and put forward their point of view. The panelists also focused on how social media can be used to connect with customers and solve 50% of the problems by listening the issue of the consumer.
