AbacusConsulting has signed an agreement with Apigee to become the reseller partner for the Apigee API management platform. Arrangement will allow Pakistani digital and FinTech firms to expose themselves to outer-world through APIs.
In simpler words, with such an API engine in place companies like Daraz for instance will be able to expose their data (listing, prices, specs etc) through APIs and anyone who would want to consume this data — such as affiliate marketers, payment processors etc — will be able to intelligently grab only required data instead of scrapping entire website
Through this agreement, Abacus and Apigee will deliver an intelligent API platform to help organizations accelerate the pace of digital business, which will help in creating a connected digital experience for customers, partners and employees.
In addition to this, the Apigee API platform will enable businesses to securely share data and services across myriad tdevices and channels.
The signing ceremony was held in Karachi where Mr. Saad Syed, Sales Director MEA for Apigee and Mr. Shoaib Khan, VP AbacusConsulting were present.
