Rozee’s Parvaaz Job Fair Attracts a Huge Crowd in Islamabad

Billed as the ‘Professional Lifestyle Event,’ the Islamabad leg of the Rozee Job Fair attracted tens of thousands of young graduates, industry professionals, career-focused individuals and many other people from all walks of life.

The event was held at the Pak-China Friendship Center and was brimming with energy and enthusiasm as thousands of young people thronged the stalls set up by Pakistani companies from all around the country, hoping to attract the best talent for their job vacancies.

Given its slogan as a Professional Lifestyle Event, the Rozee Job Fair took extra and much-needed measures to facilitate avid job seekers and recruiters.

Rozee Parvaaz Mobile App Made Submitting CVs a Breeze

With smartphone use growing amongst the Pakistani job seekers, the app developers at Rozee made use of QR code technology for the Job Fair. Simply put, the app helped job applicants apply for companies and the available job vacancy simply by scanning QR codes at a company’s stall.

A dedicated QR code was assigned to each and every participating entity at the Rozee Job Fair, and any passerby would scan it and submit their CV on the fly to the company.

For the Traditionalists

In order to further facilitate those who preferred using the traditional paper CV, Rozee set up stalls for helping first-time and even veteran job seekers create and fine-tune their CVs.

Also provided was a free mentoring session for those who wanted to know which career path would be best for them considering their qualifications and skills. Print outs of CVs were also provided.

Stalls Reflected a Diverse Range of Employers

From IT companies to social, medical, educational companies, the Job Fair at Pak-China Friendship Center attracted a plethora of companies from all across Pakistan.

Many educational institutes were also there to attract new students. Marketing agencies were also in attendance, helping showcase their TVCs and to infuse fresh talent to their organizations.

Smooth arrangements for the event ensured that both the attendees and the companies were able to make the most of their interactions.

Mr. Monis Rahman, CEO of Rozee was also there, kicking off the event and overseeing the arrangements himself. A TVC for Rozee’s #AgayBarho campaign featuring comedian Saad Haroon was also shown, lending to the festive and enthusiastic environment that punctuated the event throughout.

All in all, Rozee Job Fair ticked all the right boxes on how to hold an event successfully, proving mutually beneficial for all stakeholders in Pakistan’s job creation segment.

Holding such events can help minimize the brain drain and unemployment issue faced by highly qualified graduates and under graduates.
