After a successful launch to their e-commerce store in 2015, Yayvo.com has launched a CSR initiative in collaboration with Saylani Welfare.
The Box of Hope enables people to reuse a Yayvo box and donate all their unwanted household items such as gently used clothes, shoes, toys etc.
Labeled as a green project, Yayvo is aiming to revolutionize the concept of donations. The launch of this service is also significant considering that the month of Ramzan sees increased number of donations and charity.
The donation making process is broken down into four easy steps:
After you have dropped the box at a TCS Center, the company will ship all Box of Hope packages to Saylani Welfare, ending up in the hands of the needy who can’t afford even basic necessities.
Founded in 1999 by Maulana Bashir Farooq Qadri, the charity focuses primarily on feeding the homeless.
With an estimated monthly expenditure of more than Rs. 30 million, Saylani Trust provides food twice a day to more than 30,000 poor people through its 100 centers. Most of the trust’s centers are operating in Karachi.
