CDA Cancels Grace Valley Housing Scheme

Grace Valley Pvt Ltd sponsored a plan to build Grace Valley Housing Scheme back in 2012. The plan was initially approved by the Capital Development Authority but recently, it has been cancelled because the submission of the deed for the land could not be achieved.

The plan consisted a layout of an area of 404.86 Kanals in Mouza Rawat and Kortna, which is Zone-V of Islamabad. This area would have 392 plots for residents.

Ansar Aziz, the Mayor of Islamabad and the current Chairman of CDA told that the CDA will not tolerate invasion of territory and housing societies failing to meet the imposed law. He said,

No deviation from rules will be tolerated at any cost in this regard and the strict action will continue without fear or favour.

CDA states that since the plan of the Green Valley Housing Scheme was approved, the company has not maintained mortgage payments and did not process any paperwork for the deed of the land or any required payments to attain the property.

Grace Valley Pvt Ltd, which was sponsoring Grace Valley Housing Scheme were told to deliver paperwork, including their financial papers and aks shajrah, fards, and NOC of the link road they purchased (in order to join the Housing Scheme with the GT Road).

According to official statements, the company did not provide these documents. Following the Clause 5(ii), Chapter-IV of ICT (Zoning) Regulations, 1992, the CDA has finally decided to cancel their approval for the Grace Valley Housing Scheme.
