We are all familiar with the concept of property exhibitions. They usually take place in big expo centres, involve dozens of exhibitors and welcome thousands of visitors over 2-3 days. So when we at ProPakistani received an invitation from Zameen.com to visit their Open Day Event we were not quite sure how was it different from their famous Expos.
Well what did catch our attention were some statistics from their earlier Open Day Event back in April that bagged 200 deals and offered a total of Rs.50 million worth discounts to the buyers and investors. We had to experience it ourselves so we travelled to Lahore to get a first-hand experience ourselves.
The Zameen Property Open Day Event was held on December 9th and 10th from 10 a.m. till 6 p.m. on both days. The event to our growing curiosity was hosted at a local hotel on the happening M.M. Alam Road in Lahore. In first glance what appeared to be a smaller than usual venue unfolded to be a well-planned and customer insight driven decision by Zameen.com.
The Open Day Event was spread across two adjoining halls in a very customer service oriented setting. Even the widely considered out of reach commercial properties were in grasp of a common investor starting at Rs.1.3 million for plots and shops and offices at Rs.2 million and Rs.2.6 million respectively. The Open Day Event had in-fact turned out to be a walk in paradise for both common families and small scale investors.
