Punjab Food Authority has been pretty active in the past few years. The authority banned and fined many renowned restaurants and brands for substandard quality of food and drinks. However, there still are countless places that go unchecked and it will take some time before the situation can be completely controlled.
However, the general public can play its role in notifying the relevant authorities so they can keep a better check on these places. As citizens, it is our responsibility to report to the authorities whenever we come across any kind of malpractices being followed.
For the same purpose, Punjab Food Authority has built several platforms so the public can help in highlighting any such places that don’t meet quality food standards.
PFA has developed several tools to get feedback and complaints from public about eateries. Overall, there are three platforms through which you can report to PFA.

The website to register complaints can be accessed here. However, the complaint page is non-functional at the moment but is expected to be up soon.
For now, the public can use PFA’s Facebook page to register their complaints.
PFA’s mobile application can be downloaded for both Android and iOS. The app has a pretty simple interface and it is easy to register a complaint through the app, take a look at screenshots from the app.
PFA, with the help of Punjab Information Technology Board, set up a toll-free helpline as well. The number can be accessed from various cities of Punjab and the authority plans to launch it across all cities of Punjab very soon. The number to register complaints is: 0800-02345.
