HMD Global’s latest mid-range smartphone, Nokia 7 Plus, is finally here. It brings dual cameras, a tall 18:9 aspect ratio display along with other unique features.
It is an Android One phone running the stock or vanilla version of Android 8.1 Oreo, and will get new updates as soon as they arrive from Google.
Starting with the front we have a beautiful 6 inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display on the front, with almost non-existent side bezels. Going with the current trends, Nokia 7 Plus features an 18:9 aspect ratio screen.
On the back you have the 12+13 MP dual cameras with orange accents surrounding the camera modules and the fingerprint sensor. The phone is available in black, white or a mix of black and white, which looks unique to say the least. Unfortunately the black and white color is not available in Pakistan yet.
Powering the insides of Nokia 7 Plus is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The storage capacity is expandable via a hybrid SIM card/microSD card slot.

As mentioned earlier, the Nokia 7 Plus runs Android 8.1 Oreo without any skins or bloatware. Meaning you get a similar experience as Google Pixel phones.
The back cameras feature a 12 MP (f/1.8) and 13 MP (f/2.6) sensor with gyroscopic Electronic Image Stabilization, Dual Pixel PDAF, 2x optical zoom and a dual LED flash.
On the front, you get a single 16 MP (f/2.0) sensor. All of the cameras are from Zeiss Optics.
Nokia 7 Plus houses a reasonable 3,800 mAh battery with an 18 W fast charger included in the box. It charges up from 0-43% in 30 minutes, getting up to 75% in an hour.
Do note that the phone has not been officially announced by HMD Global. It is currently listed Advance Telecom’s (official distributor) website for purchase . The phone will cost Rs. 49,500 and is only available in white or black colors.
