“Excited to announce: It’s a boy, and my girl is doing great and keeping strong as usual #Alhumdulilah,” he tweeted, thanking friends and fans for wishes and prayers.
Indian tennis star’s sister Anam Mirza preferred Instagram over Twitter to break the news.
“It’s a boy,” said Anam in an animated post.
The power couple has been married for eight years. Since then, the Indo-Pak couple announced Sania’s pregnancy; people from across the borders have been invested in the matter.
The duo has been asked several weird questions regarding their child’s surname, nationality and the sports he would probably play.

The celebrities from both countries have poured into wishes and congratulatory messages for the sports-couple and the baby.
