Charge d’ Affairs Embassy of Japan in Pakistan, Yusuke Shindo, called on Abdul Razak Dawood, the Advisor to Prime Minister for Commerce, Textile, Industry, and Production, and Investment on Thursday.
The meeting took place at the Ministry of Commerce and discussed issues related to investment and bilateral trade.
On the occasion, PM’s advisor highlighted that the fisheries sector of the country needs improvement. He said the existing infrastructure of the industry, including Karachi’s fish harbor was in dire need of development.
During the meeting, the two dignitaries discussed establishing a technology upgradation fund to strengthen the manufacture base of the country.
The meeting reviewed the progress on the decisions taken during the Pak-Japan Business Dialogue held last year in December in Japan and also discussed the agenda of the upcoming business session.
