The Job Fair and Start-up Expo 2019 that happened on the 7th February pulled in more than 300 local and multinational companies with more than 3000 job placements for 500 graduates this year.
The Job Fair and Start-up Expo was a great platform for fresh graduates to closely interact with the corporate industry and discuss the brands’ expectations. It also created a lot of awareness and a sense of direction among the graduates. All they had to do was interact, give interviews and secure jobs.
The graduates gave interviews to various organization and many of them were shortlisted for positions in some of Pakistan’s credible organizations like Pepsi, Silk Bank, PTCL, DHL, Adamjee Life, Gul Ahmed etc.
Followed by the job fair, Start-up Expo was also organized in which students and graduates presented their start-up ideas. The inauguration of the state-of-the-art Business Incubation Centre by the department of ORIC is yet another milestone for the university.
The Business Incubation Centre would be encouraging the entrepreneurial minds to put forward business models and ideas which the university aims at nourishing by providing the students the proper mentorship and capital funds which will create jobs for the young graduates.
The zealous efforts of the university in helping its students to pave out their career paths and become a respectable part of the society is surely commendable.
