TOTAL PARCO is planning to invest as much as $150 million in Pakistan’s marketing sector, the state-owned newswire service said on Wednesday.
According to an Associated Press Pakistan (APP) report, a delegation of the company held a meeting with the Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan today.
During the meeting, the delegation, headed by Vice President TOTAL PARCO for South Pacific Indian Ocean Olivier Chalvon, hinted at investing $150 million in the petroleum marketing sector of Pakistan during the next three years.
The delegation also showed interest in investing in the fields of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and alternative energy resources, APP reported quoting a person from the Petroleum Division.
The minister is happy with the company’s offer and promised to provide all possible assistance to foreign investors.
