Huawei to Bring ‘Something Different’ With Its First TV

Huawei has been facing some serious trouble following the US-China trade war, however, the tech giant is not coming slow when it comes to increasing its product range. The most recent addition to the company’s product line will be big screen TVs.

While other companies are focusing on introducing different smart features in their TVs, Huawei has taken a unique approach. The TV promises to be a treat for entertainment lovers as it will essentially be a smart speaker with a big display, like a media hub.

Huawei’s Richard Yu has also shared the company’s ambitious plan of becoming the leading smartphone brand in the world by 2020.

According to the expected date of launch, he added that Huawei can launch its TV by H1 2019, however, the company wants to add some really interesting features and something different before the launch so it might be delayed.

However, it is still unsure whether or not Huawei will launch its TV this year, but, if it does, it will be another head-to-head clash with its rival Xiaomi, the leading TV manufacturer in China. Earlier, Huawei announced the launch of its own car as it prepares to take on Xiaomi for the mantle of China’s leading tech company.
