NUML and DBTV Sign a MoU to Promote Mobile Journalism

National University of Modern Languages (NUML) and Digital Broadcast Television (DBTV) have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote mobile journalism and provide training in the field of media.

On the occasion, NUML’s Head of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Dr. Khalid Sultan called the MoU a new chapter in cooperation between the two sides and said that it would be helpful in providing opportunities to the students to explore new avenues in the media industry. He hoped that student will benefit from Mobile Journalism to serve humanity and society.

In her remarks, General Manager DB TV, Bakhtawar Mehmood said that the aim of the training is to equip students with modern techniques to truly demonstrate their creative work. She said that DBTV would extend any kind of cooperation to NUML University and the students of media.

Director News DBTV, Tahir Dhindsa termed the MoU as a new chapter of cooperation between NUML and DBTV and said that Mobile Journalism will empower the citizens through information.

Director ORIC, Professor Kiramat Ali said that new trends in the media industry have a major role in reducing the gap between different sectors of society.
