Now that we know when Oppo’s Reno2 series is coming, the leaks have started coming in telling us all we need to know about the phones.
Oppo is going to launch three smartphones in the series dubbed Reno 2, Reno 2Z and Reno 2F. The regular Reno 2 would have the best specifications in the trio.
As far as Reno 2Z and 2F are concerned, we have no information regarding their specifications.
Here’s what we know about the Oppo Reno 2.
Design and Display
The smartphone will feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and an impressive 93.1% screen to body ratio.
The display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 while at the back it will have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. For better security, the smartphone will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device will go for sale in ocean blue and luminous black colors.
Internal and Storage
As for its internals, the smartphone will come with an octa-core Snapdragon 730G processor accompanied by 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of built-in storage.
Oppo has also focused on the gaming side of things, incorporating anti-cheat extensions, HDR10 gaming support, Game assistant, and better graphics processing.
There aren’t any leaks about the camera specifics of the Oppo Reno 2, but we do have a general idea of what we’re getting.
The teaser poster mentioned a quad-sensor rear camera which will feature Samsung’s 48MP sensor as the main camera followed by a 13 MP telephoto lens, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor.
According to the rumors, the selfie camera will be a 16 MP shooter.
Based on Oppo’s statement, the device has a 4000 mAh battery backed by 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging over a USB Type-C port.
