Huawei launched the children-focused Watch 3 series at its 10 Plus Conference earlier today.
The Watch 3S is the cheaper variant and comes with a silicone strap. It is IP68 waterproof certified and can survive depths of up to 1.5 meters for just under 30 minutes.
The higher-end Watch 3X has a bounce-back strap which is more comfortable and features a 5MP camera. The Watch 3X has been given a waterproof rating of IP67.
Interestingly, the Watch 3 series is 4G compatible with several Chinese and more than 200 service providers across the globe.
Other features include various dials which can be used to customize the interface, a localization system which utilizes AI as well as an AI assistant which can teach children.
The Watch 3S is expected to cost about $100 and will be available in stores from 25th September onwards.
The Watch 3X will cost around $150 and will be made available a month later on 25th October.
