Google Stadia Launches on November 19

Google’s new game streaming platform, Stadia, is going live in just a month.

Stadia’s Founder Edition will be arriving on November 19 and you will be able to sign in and play games right away since there’s no download required. All you need is a good internet connection.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be featured at Stadia’s launch including a couple of other major games such as Mortal Kombat 11, Kine, and others. You will be able to play all your favorite games on TVs, tablets, phones, laptops, and desktops. If you have multiple compatible devices, you will be able to switch between them seamlessly in the middle of a game.

The first few phones that will support Google Stadia include the Pixel 3 and 4 phones. Some laptops and tablets are supported including the Pixel Slate, Acer Chromebook Tab 10 and HP Chromebook X2. More devices will be added eventually.

The Founder and Premiere Editions of Stadia will have 3 months of Stadia Pro subscription and Destiny 2 Collection bundled with them so you can try the cloud gaming experience before paying for any games.

Stadia Pro subscription gives you unlimited access to a list of free games that will rotate periodically. New games will be added to this list each month, similar to Apple Arcade.

If you’re interested, Google Stadia Founder’s Edition is currently going for $130.
