Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has once again increased additional baggage charges for both domestic and international passengers.
As per the spokesman of PIA, the national flag-carrier has imposed charges of Rs. 5,800 on extra baggage of more than 10 kg for international and domestic flights.
From now on, passengers traveling from Karachi to Dubai and Jeddah will be charged Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 800 for each kg of extra luggage.
Travelers from Karachi to Toronto will pay Rs. 25,000 for an additional 27 kg of luggage. Passengers of London bound flights will be charged Rs 3,500 per kg of extra luggage.
This is the second time PIA has increased additional baggage charges. Before this, PIA raised the charges for additional baggage on both international and domestic routes in April.
