Challenges and opportunities faced by the food services industry in the capital city were discussed in a high-level meeting between the senior management of Cheetay and The Islamabad Restaurants Association (IRA).

Cheetay recently launched a new Vendor Support Helpline to answer queries in an organized and efficient way to ensure long-term partnerships with restaurants.
“The consumer is at the core of our model,” said Cheetay’s CEO, Majid Khan.“Cheetay and IRA will collaborate to enhance delivery speeds and grow delivery radii. We will work with restaurants to improve food quality and menu options to attract new customers.”
Cheetay is one of Pakistan’s largest and fastest-growing tech-enabled, NOW-Commerce company that recently raised $7.8 million in a Series A round of investments. The last-mile delivery platform, delivers food, household essentials, parcels and pharmaceuticals.
“IRA shares Cheetay’s vision to scale up restaurant businesses in Islamabad,” said Khurram Khan, President of IRA, a coalition of eateries in Islamabad with 200 restaurant owners as members.

Cheetay expanded its operations to Islamabad and Rawalpindi in March this year and has over 300 partner restaurants. The company also offers a platform for home-based businesses to market and sell their food. Cheetay’s vision is to lead Pakistan’s tech revolution by developing and harnessing local talent while improving the lives of countless Pakistanis by creating employment opportunities in the country. It currently operates in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Rawalpindi and is planning to expand to other cities.
