You Can Submit Hajj Applications Through These Banks in 11 Days

The Government of Pakistan has announced the collection of Hajj applications throughout the country through 13 authorized banks in 11 days starting today.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the intending pilgrims can deposit their application forms along with dues for Hajj 2020 in the designated branches of 13 banks including:

  1. National Bank of Pakistan
  2. Habib Bank
  3. United Bank
  4. MCB Bank
  5. Allied Bank
  6. Bank of Punjab
  7. Bank Alfalah
  8. Zarai Taraqiati Bank
  9. Faysal Bank
  10. Askari Bank
  11. Bank Al-Habib
  12. Habib Metropolitan Bank
  13. Bank and Meezan Bank

The central bank has increased the number of banks from eight last year to 13 this year. However, merely one Islamic bank has been included unlike previously when some Islamic banks were given preference along with Islamic branches of conventional banks.

These banks have a wide branch network in the country.

SBP directed 13 authorized banks to keep all their designated branches open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays (i.e. 29-02-2020 and 01-03-2020) throughout the country.

The intending pilgrims can submit their application from today till 6th March 2020.

The Hajj package will cost Rs. 455,695 for the Southern region and  Rs. 463,465 for the north.
