Apple Might Launch a Larger Version of its Cheapest iPhone Ever

Jon Prosser, dubbed as the Apple rumormonger who hasn’t missed yet, recently tweeted about iPhone SE Plus hitting the markets soon. The tipster shared a litany of leaks (that turned out true) before the launch of iPhone SE, including the correct date of launch.

iPhone SE, launched last week, takes after 2018-launched iPhone 8. However, internally, it comes with the latest A13 Bionic chipset and Apple GPU (4-core graphics), which is pretty impressive for a $400 phone. The smartphone marks the discontinuation of the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus sales. Hence, iPhone SE Plus might be a replacement for the iPhone 8 Plus.

Aside from this, as per previous reports the iPhone SE Plus moniker was spotted in the iOS 14 program code. This only adds to the probability of the news being true. Since iPhone 8 Plus featured a 5.5-inch display and a dual-sensor rear-camera setup, the iPhone SE Plus is expected to come with similar specifications.

Although, internally the upcoming smartphone, like the iPhone SE, will be more powerful. It will most probably come with a larger battery and iPhone SE-like A13 Bionic chipset and Apple GPU (4-core graphics).

The news has not been confirmed officially, hence, take this all with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for more updates.
