Three months after introducing its first K-series smartphone, the Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched the Oppo K7x with mid-range specifications and a reasonable price tag.
Design and Display
The smartphone is built around a 6.5-inch LCD panel with Full HD+ (1080p) resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 405 PPI pixel density, and 600 nits maximum brightness.
Design-wise, it follows the rectangular camera bump trend that started earlier this year with the S20 series. The rest of the back is bare with the fingerprint sensor mounted on the side. It is available in two color options – Black Mirror and Blue Shadow.
Internals and Storage
Oppo K7x is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC accompanied by 6 GB RAM and 128 GB onboard storage. The handset runs Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2 out of the box.
Cameras
The phone features a quad-sensor rear camera system with a 48 MP primary camera joined by an 8 MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2 MP depth sensor units.
For selfies, it comes with a 16MP snapper.
Battery and Pricing
The whole package is fueled by a 5000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging.
The smartphone is up for pre-booking in China. Sales will start by 11th November 2020. Its base variant costs $225 but is available at $210 for a limited time.
