The Punjab government will sell or lease government land to raise funding for mega projects.
This was decided in a meeting held at the Civil Secretariat on Wednesday, in which Provincial Finance Minister, Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bakht, virtually participated.

The provincial government has also issued instructions to the relevant departments in this regard, to identify their lands and to prepare a strategy for leasing or selling them.
The minister said that it was the priority of the Punjab government to complete the development projects on time.
