Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Will Now Only Come With Snapdragon 865

We heard it before and now it is official. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will only be a Snapdragon exclusive with no more Exynos variants to see in the future. The flagship device will only feature the 5nm Snapdragon 865 SoC for both 5G and 4G models.

The confirmation comes from Samsung’s Swedish website which offers the Galaxy S20 FE in two different memory options including 6GB/128GB and an 8GB/256GB trim is coming soon too.

Up until now, Samsung offered the SD865 version of the Galaxy S20 FE with 5G and the Exynos 990 sibling would top out at 4G and was also cheaper. 5G was exclusive to the SD865 variant thanks to the Qualcomm X55 modem.

However, now that there is no longer going to be the Exynos variant, you will have to pay more for the 4G and 5G models. The 5G is model is going to cost €700 in Europe and the 4G option will go for €630.

Other than that, the Snapdragon 865 version has the exact same specs as the discontinued Exynos 990 trim. You get a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. There is a 12MP triple camera setup at the back, a 4,500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging, IP68 water resistance, microSD card slot, and more.
