11th Generation Toyota Corolla (2014-2023)
The Toyota Indus Motor Company is ready to add another option to its already diverse Corolla X lineup and has opened bookings for the Corolla X 1.6 Special Edition (SE) from today (10 September).
The SE variant of the Corolla X 1.6 will have all the features of the Corolla 1.8 Altis Grande, including automatic climate control, LED projection headlights, a push-start button, a sunroof, cruise control, and reclinable rear seats.
According to sources, the Corolla X 1.6 SE will be available to the public at an estimated price tag of Rs. 3.6 million, meaning it will be priced the same as the starting price of a Corolla X 1.8L.
Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) seemingly intends to sway the buyers of both the Honda Civic and the Honda City towards the Corolla X 1.6 SE by offering slightly better value in terms of price and features.
The company will reportedly launch the SE trim-level to commemorate Toyota Corolla’s 50 million global sales to date, which cements the vehicle’s position as one of the most popular family cars in the world.
