The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) plans to develop amusement parks at two prominent locations in the city.
These entertainment facilities will be established at Greater Iqbal Park and Racecourse Park.
PHA Director General Muhammad Tahir Wattoo announced that the new amusement parks would be collaborative projects between the department and the private sector. They will offer various indoor and outdoor entertainment options for families, especially children.
The parks will feature rides, shows, and themed areas, and are anticipated to attract millions of visitors annually, significantly boosting the PHA’s revenue, the DG stated on Thursday.
