The federal government has given the position of Secretary Ministry of IT & Telecom for a period of three months.
“Ms. Aisha Humera Ch., a BS-21 officer of Secretariat Group, presently posted as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, is assigned current charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, in addition to her own duties, for a period of three months or till the posting of regular incumbent, whichever is earlier, with immediate effect,” the Establishment Division said in a notification on Thursday.
This comes after the Prime Minister removed Secretary MoITT Captain (Retired) Muhammad Mehmood from the position two days ago.
