Pakistan’s Imports from China Surge 24% in FY24

Pakistan’s imports from China increased by 24 percent during the fiscal year 2023-2024 (FY24).

According to data obtained by ProPakistani, Pakistan’s imports from China stood at $14.51 billion during FY24, an increase of 24 percent over imports in the previous fiscal year.

On the other hand, Pakistan’s exports to China stood at a meager $2.56 billion during FY24, portraying a clear edge held by China in bilateral trade.

The US was Pakistan’s biggest export destination with the country earning $5.29 billion in revenue from exports to the US. However, there was just a 0.9 percent increase in exports to the US in FY24 when compared to FY23.

On the flip side, the imports from the US plummeted by 28 percent and stood at just $1.26 billion.
