The 56th academic council meeting of the University of Agriculture (UoA) Peshawar, chaired by Vice Chancellor Emeritus Prof. Dr. Jehan Bakht on Wednesday, approved the introduction of new undergraduate degree programs.
The meeting was attended by professors, faculty members, and elected representatives. The council approved several academic initiatives aimed at enhancing the university’s academic offerings, including the launch of new undergraduate degree programs such as BS Agriculture Development, BS Development Studies, BS Economics, and BS Sociology.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jehan Bakht expressed his gratitude to the participants for organizing a successful meeting and emphasized the need for practical measures to address the university’s financial challenges. He also encouraged university employees to contribute to the institution’s development, curriculum enhancement, and efforts to improve students’ capacity building.
