LDA Continues Sealing Illegal Properties in Lahore

Acting on the instructions of LDA Director General Tahir Farooq, teams from the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) carried out an operation against illegal commercial buildings and commercial fee defaulters in Gulshan Ravi, sealing 16 properties.

The operation, conducted on Wednesday, was overseen by Chief Town Planner One, Asad Zaman, and Director Town Planning Zone One, Ayesha Mutahir. The sealed properties included a private school, mutton shop, oil shop, bakery, café, restaurant, auto workshop, and garment shops, among others.

Asad Zaman stated that millions of rupees in outstanding commercial fees were owed by the sealed properties, and noted that multiple notices had been issued to them prior to the operation.
