A flight from a foreign airline traveling from Sharjah to Dhaka was forced to make an emergency landing at Karachi airport after a 42-year-old passenger passed away mid-flight.
Airport sources reported that the passenger’s health suddenly worsened during the journey. In response to the medical emergency, the pilot requested immediate permission from Karachi’s Air Traffic Control (ATC) to land. The ATC promptly granted the request, and flight G-9512 safely touched down at Karachi airport, according to a spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

Upon landing, a medical team from the CAA boarded the aircraft to evaluate the passenger’s condition. Sadly, the team confirmed that the passenger had already died.
Following standard procedures, the CAA handed the body over to the airline. The flight, which had been en route from Sharjah to Dhaka, was grounded at Karachi airport for about two hours before resuming its journey.
