CEO of Expo Center Mariam Khawar confirmed that the centers are self-sufficient and generate their revenue without requiring government funds. She also announced the dismissal of the former Chief Finance Officer due to corruption allegations.
In other news, the federal cabinet has approved the privatization of the Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation and Saindak Metals Limited. Also, the department ENAR Petrotech Services Pvt Ltd will be dissolved.
Eight companies have expressed interest in purchasing Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
The future of other departments, including Pakistan State Oil, Pak-Arab Refinery Limited, and the Sui Gas Companies remains uncertain.
