The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast hot and dry weather across most parts of the country for the next 24 hours. However, some areas, including Pothohar, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, may see rain.
According to the PMD, while these regions will generally remain clear, there could be partly cloudy skies with a chance of thunderstorms and gusty winds in some spots.
Over the past 24 hours, most areas experienced hot and dry conditions. Rain, accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms, was recorded in northeastern Punjab, northern Balochistan, and Kalam in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In terms of rainfall, Hafizabad in Punjab saw 8 mm, Mandi Bahauddin had 5 mm, and Lahore recorded 2 mm. Barakhan in Balochistan received 7 mm, and Kalam saw 1 mm.
Temperatures peaked at 43 degrees Celsius in Turbat and 42 degrees Celsius in Sibi on Tuesday.
