Sindh Approves Health Insurance Policy for Police

The Sindh government has approved a new health insurance policy for police personnel providing medical coverage to officers and their families. Following the Sindh Cabinet’s decision, the Finance Department is expected to release funds for the initiative soon.

A meeting at the Central Police Office, chaired by Inspector General (IG) Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, discussed the scheme. During the briefing, DIG Finance informed participants that health cards would be issued to all police personnel by the selected insurance company.

Furthermore, assistance from NADRA will help verify the family details of police officers to ensure proper coverage. Training on using the health insurance benefits will start immediately, with IG Sindh stressing the importance of making officers and their families fully aware of the policy.
