Deputy Director of Logistics at the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Munir Alam, confirmed that the plane would be stationed at the Civil Aviation Institute in Hyderabad. The aircraft will play a vital role in training students enrolled in aviation programs, offering hands-on experience.

To ensure a smooth transition, a team of experts from the CAA accompanied the transport company throughout the relocation process.

Interestingly, a similar operation occurred recently in Saudi Arabia, where three retired Boeing 777 aircraft undertook a remarkable journey across the desert on a 1,000-kilometre road trip from Jeddah to Riyadh. This event garnered significant attention and highlighted innovative approaches to repurposing retired aircraft in training and tourism.

This initiative marks a significant milestone in Pakistan’s aviation history and aims to enhance the training facilities available for future aviation professionals in the country.
