Karachi to Experience Colder Weather After December 4

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast a drop in temperatures in Karachi starting after December 4, with a decrease of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius expected, as reported on Friday.

Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz explained that a western weather system has entered Balochistan, bringing rain to the region. While this system is expected to move toward northern Pakistan, the cold winds trailing it may affect Karachi, leading to cooler conditions.

According to Sarfraz, Karachi’s minimum temperature could drop to around 16°C (61°F), while the maximum might reach 30°C (86°F). The weather is expected to become noticeably colder after December 4 as these changes take effect.

In addition, the PMD’s Early Warning Center has predicted light rain and drizzle in several rural districts of Sindh, including Qambar Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Larkana, and Shikarpur, due to the influence of the same weather system.

Residents of Karachi can expect a significant shift in the city’s weather, as cooler winds and lower temperatures signal the onset of winter conditions.
