Sindh Relaxes Dress Code for Students Due to Winter

Sindh’s Education Minister, Sardar Ali Shah, has directed schools to relax uniform codes during the winter season, allowing students to wear warm clothing to protect themselves from the cold.

Following his directive, the Directorate of Private Institutions Sindh issued a circular to private schools, emphasizing the importance of supporting measures to safeguard children’s health during the winter.

The Sindh Education Department instructed private schools to ease uniform restrictions and permit students to wear any suitable warm clothing during the cold months. The circular further urged schools to cooperate with parents in taking necessary precautions against the cold to protect students’ health.

The department also called for all possible measures to ensure classrooms remain warm and comfortable for students during the winter season.

It is worth noting that two days ago, Punjab’s Education Department issued a notification for public and private schools across the province, allowing students to wear jerseys, sweaters, or jackets of any color during the winter to stay warm amidst the severe cold wave.
