A delivery rider, Babar Baloch, recently fell victim to a brutal robbery in Hyderabad’s Qasimabad area. The incident occurred when Babar arrived to deliver a pizza at a specified location. Two unidentified men attacked him by throwing chili powder in his eyes, leaving him temporarily blinded and defenseless.
The assailants then robbed Babar of his mobile phone, wallet, watch, and other personal belongings before fleeing the scene. The attack not only caused physical harm but also left the victim shaken and distressed.
A case was registered at the Bhittai Nagar police station. Despite the suspects being potentially traceable through the phone number used to place the order, no significant action has been taken so far. This lack of accountability has raised concerns among delivery riders, many of whom are now hesitant to serve Qasimabad, especially during nighttime.
