The Islamabad police have taken strict action against three of their personnel who were found guilty of harassing a family in the federal capital.
According to a police spokesman on Wednesday, the three officers were dismissed from service following the incident, which occurred in Sector F-11. During routine snap-checking, Dolphin Force personnel stopped a family traveling in a car and harassed them.
After the victims filed a complaint, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Islamabad, Syed Ali Raza, took immediate notice of the matter, ordered an inquiry, and suspended the officers involved.
The inquiry found all three personnel—Aqib, Ali Haider, and Talha—guilty of misconduct. “Based on the findings, all three officers have been terminated from their positions,” the police spokesperson confirmed.
DIG Syed Ali Raza reiterated that the misuse of authority would not be tolerated within the force.
