A female student from a prominent university in Lahore has accused three men of gang-raping her at a flat in a housing society on Raiwind Road. The Racecourse Women’s Police Station has filed a case against the suspects.
According to the victim’s statement in the FIR, one of the men, identified as “H,” befriended her on social media and proposed marriage. She claimed that the suspect attempted to initiate a physical relationship with her, but she refused.
The suspect then lured her to a luxury housing scheme, where he introduced her to two friends. The victim further alleged that the group took her to a flat in the housing society under the guise of having breakfast.
Once there, the three men allegedly raped her and recorded the assault on video to blackmail her. They reportedly threatened to release the videos on social media if she told anyone.
The suspects also stole some of the victim’s sister’s bank cheques before leaving her on a deserted road. The victim expressed her devastation in the FIR, calling for legal action against the perpetrators. Authorities are currently conducting raids to arrest the suspects.
