Father and Sons Kill Female Family Members Over Property Dispute

A man and his sons killed three women and injured three others from his brother’s family over a property dispute on the outskirts of the city.

The incident occurred at Chak 103-NB on Sailanwali Road, where the man and his three sons attacked their relatives with a sharp weapon. The victims included two young nieces, Aleshbha Arif and Maryam Arif, along with their mother, Qamar Batool, who was the wife of the suspect’s brother. The attackers also critically injured three other nieces—Mafia Arif, Nimra Arif, and Zainab Arif—before fleeing the scene.

Saddar police transferred the bodies of the deceased and the injured to the hospital. Punjab’s chief minister took notice of the incident, requested a detailed report, and directed that the injured receive the best possible medical care.

District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf visited the crime scene and later met with the injured victims, assuring them that justice would be served. According to reports, Nimra, Mafia, and Zainab were transferred to Sargodha Hospital due to the severity of their injuries.
