The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government has introduced a new housing scheme aimed at providing affordable housing for its government employees, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
Launched under the direction of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Housing Foundation and the Housing Department, the initiative seeks to facilitate homeownership for government workers. Online registration for the scheme has commenced via the “Dastak” app.
Officials announced that registration is now open and will continue until next month, with all employees required to complete their applications by March 25th. The “Dastak” mobile application, available on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, is being used to streamline the registration process.
To ensure widespread awareness, government departments across the province have been instructed to prominently display notices about the scheme. Employees can access application forms and detailed information directly through the “Dastak” app, while additional details and online registration links are available on the Housing Department and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) websites.
“This scheme reflects our commitment to enhancing the welfare of government employees,” said a spokesperson for the Housing Department. “By digitizing the registration process through the ‘Dastak’ app, we are making it more convenient for employees to seize this opportunity.”
The provincial government urges all eligible employees to register within the given timeframe to benefit from the scheme. Similar housing initiatives are also being implemented in other regions of Pakistan, highlighting a broader effort to improve government employee welfare through accessible housing solutions.
